We work closely with Landscape Architects to deliver unique play areas which are safe and exciting environments for children to explore and play in, what ever the budget.

Natural Play Areas

This picture is of is a  recent scheme in Ditton Priors which had a restricted budget.  By working with the Client, the Community and the Landscape Architect, we were able to refurbish and utilise some of the existing equipment whilst incorporating new features, to give the area a completely new look. We refurbished the existing timber play equipment and incorporated natural elements such as boulders, planting, logs and grass mounds.

Forest Schools

D W Shotton Landscapes have established a number of Forest School and Natural Play Area sites for Local Authority Schools.  Works have included: Outdoor shelters and classrooms, pathways, seating, fencing and clearing works.

Outdoor Gyms

Outdoor gym equipment is an increasingly popular community facility in parks, schools and public spaces. It can be used safely by people of all ages and fitness without the need for supervision. D W Shotton Landscapes have installed a number of outdoor gyms which have proved to be very well used by the surrounding communities.
